Happy Birthday Mason...and Other Stuff :)

Happy birthday Mason! Today we had an extra-special morning in Sunday School - Mason shared his birthday fun with us! Here are Isabelle and Mason before the fun got into full swing :)
And, as promised, pictures of Eli (our newest addition). I'm still not sure if this is a temporary thing or permanent...some thinking and discussions need to take place, but he sure is sweet! He is already settling in with Isabelle and Faith quite well - he's not allowed on furniture, but Faith is, which puts Eli stretching as far as he possibly can to be a part of the action. Isabelle is always happy to have a new friend and takes everything in stride!
Eli is really cute but I'm having a hard time getting good pics of him - every time I move he moves with me and it's kind of hard (and a bit awkward) to take pics of him between my legs!

Our other news of the day was that Monica came over this afternoon for our "webcam date" with Isabelle's foster family. They have to go to a computer lab and apparently weren't able to get a computer with a webcam so they could see us but we couldn't see them :(

At least they got to see Isabelle, but I was really hoping we'd have a good connection and Isabelle would be able to see them and hear them talking to her. Oh well, we'll try again sometime. Her FM said she hasn't been able to find work since fostering is no longer an option, and they are struggling. Her husband works at a shoe factory but apparently work has been slow. It's hard to hear and know that my means to help are limited :(

Oh - Adriana had to sell Casa de Luna because she didn't have enough business to keep it. Don't worry too much - it sold for somewhere around 1 million dollars - yep US dollars. She's working with Steve to start talking about her next business venture - he wants to do some non-profit work with schools there and she does too - could be really interesting.
