Mommy's Beach Gal

Isabelle was the absolute SAND QUEEN today! As we came through the dunes and saw the beach for the first time, she promptly sat down in the sand, cried, and screamed "NO WATER!" She was up for lots of sand play but never showed any willingness/desire to head towards the ocean. She was happy to pour buckets of water over herself but NO WATER!

This ranks up as one of my fav pics of the week so far:
We didn't dig it but someone else had left us a great hole, and Isabelle had a blast! She used the side like a slide...made for an interesting diaper later but she loved it!

By lunchtime she was so wiped out she just plain laid out in the sand ready for a nap! It was really cute! Grant was perfect all morning - the little mummy slept through the whole event!
