Wow. I remember when I first started posting each month on her 'birthday' after I got her referral, it was kind of cool. I liked thinking about her getting bigger. Then, after a while, it was depressing to think about her being yet another month older and us STILL not being a family...
Now, at 16 months old, for the first time, I get to post that we are celebrating this milestone with her in my arms FOREVER!!! Well, technically I'm sitting at the kitchen table and she's asleep in my bed, but you get the idea :)

Happy 16 months Isabelle! Kate turns 17 months this week. We are hoping that we only have to celebrate 1 more month-i-versary without her!
